Last Six Months Most Difficult of my Career: Finch - Duration: 5:34.

Last Six Months Most Difficult of my Career: Finch Loading. Australian batsman Aaron Finch has called his maiden summer of Test match cricket "the most difficult period" of his career

After making his Test debut against Pakistan in UAE in October 2018, Finch was dropped from the Test squad before the team's last Test against India in January

"Probably the last six months have been the most difficult of my career in terms of chopping and changing formats," Finch told SEN Breakfast

"Making my Test debut and playing a bit more Test cricket was probably a mental challenge more than anything

"To play in Dubai and then come straight back into an ODI and T20 series and Test matches and things like that, it's probably been the longest sustained period that I've played cricket for Australia

"In terms of that, it was quite mentally challenging and something that I probably didn't give the guys who played all three formats of the game enough credit (for) in the past

"You see them come off a Test series and come into the one-day game and you think 'jeez, they're a bit flat

I don't know why, they're playing cricket for Australia' and it's not until you've been in that position yourself that every now and then you need five minutes to yourself at times to get away

It might be a day or two. "That's been difficult and on the back of not making enough runs myself, that makes it even more of a challenge

" Finch only made 97 runs against India in six innings, and while he admits that the way Test performances are scrutinized affected him, he is optimistic about the future and taking positives from his first experiences as a Test player

"At times – I don't tend to read too much of what's written – you find yourself combing through a few papers and seeing some negative stuff," he said

"So it does wear you down a little bit but at the same time, it's been amazing. "I wouldn't change it for anything

"It was a great learning experience for me about my game and myself but also management of my own time and my own emotions

"It was a really good challenge and something I've defiantly learnt from." However, with the cricketing calendar now packed through the year, Finch believes that players may just start turning down national caps, knowing that they won't be able to give it all

"I think going forward there will be times where players say 'look, you can pick me if you like but you know my output isn't going to be (100 percent)'," Finch said

"Your heart's still in it, your head's still in it but you're physically and mentally you might be five percent off or 10 percent off

In international cricket, that's a long way from where the opposition are at a lot of the time

"So I think you will see that in terms of guys just being really honest and saying 'look, I can play, but my heart won't be in it or you're not going to get the best result out of me' and I think that the way that the game's going, people are more understanding of that

"Going back a few years there would be a lot of people who would look sideways at that and say you're giving up your spot in the Australian side but I think it's going to be crucial down the track

How to Engineer Health - Drug Discovery & Delivery: Crash Course Engineering #36 - Duration: 10:12.

Medicine matters.

Whether you're getting a flu shot or just taking an aspirin, the medical field is vital to the way you live your life.

New treatments are coming out nearly every day, all because of the hard work of scientists and engineers.

Together they're creating breakthrough medicines and figuring out how to get them where they need to go.

These efforts are known as drug discovery and drug delivery, and they're what you need if you want to engineer a healthier world.

[Theme Music]

In today's world, it's pretty easy to get things with a personalized touch.

Everyone's different, and people want a lifestyle that reflects those differences.

Custom cars, tailored clothes, personalized electronics – the list goes on.

But what about medicine?

What if you could walk into a hospital and get a completely personalized treatment for whatever you had going on?

That's the dream of biomedical engineering: a world where doctors can diagnose and treat a person based on their individual differences.

This concept is called personalized medicine and it's the healthcare of the future.

It's the idea that you could combine a person's genetic information with clinical data to best tailor a treatment to meet their specific and unique needs.

Medicine is the field where all our knowledge comes together.

You'll need biology to understand the problem, chemistry to figure out the solution, and physics to deliver that solution in a safe and targeted way.

As an engineer, it's your job to bring all this together using concepts like biocompatibility and fluid flow to create one easy-to-use package that could save someone's life.

Lucky enough, there's already some places where this kind of personalized approach is being used!

For instance, genetic tests can reveal how likely someone is to get breast cancer and guide them onto an appropriate monitoring path early in life.

Hopefully this leads to detecting the disease early on, when treatment options are less invasive and more successful.

But there are still many challenges to overcome before personalized medicine becomes widespread.

You need to develop better systems to quickly assess a patient's genetic profile,

create inexpensive diagnostic devices using that information, and find the best way to deliver a drug if anything comes up.

And that's all after your come up with a good treatment in the first place!

Drug discovery is all about finding that new treatment.

It's the process through which you discover and create new medications based on what you know about your ingredients and how they'll interact with the human body.

Even before modern healthcare, people found natural remedies, often by chance, that improved their health or helped them get over an illness.

The early days of drug discovery were all about finding the active ingredients inside those remedies –

the part that was actually affecting the body – and learning how to replicate or improve on the outcome.

Hot peppers, for instance, were used for centuries to relieve the pain of things like toothaches,

but today we know it's only the substance capsaicin that matters.

You can now buy it to treat conditions such as arthritis and shingles – all without the burning sensation created by other parts of the pepper!

These days we have large chemical libraries of synthetic molecules, natural products, and chemical extracts that |have been tested to determine their effects.

This is called classical pharmacology.

A new tool is genome analysis, the study of a complete set of an organism's DNA, including all of its genes.

It's the result of the Human Genome Project, which successfully sequenced our DNA.

Sequencing your genome is like mapping out all the genes in your body.

It's about figuring out the order of all the DNA nucleotides, or bases, in your genome.

For the Human Genome Project, researchers were able to sequence all of our 3.2 billion base pairs,

which allowed for the rapid cloning and synthesis of large quantities of purified proteins.

Genome analysis is the foundation of the modern approach to developing drugs, called reverse pharmacology.

Reverse pharmacology starts by identifying which of those proteins is related to the condition you want to treat.

You can compare that protein to a list of chemical reactions to find a molecule known to interact with it.

If you find a match, you can test the substance on living cells to see if the reaction has any positive impact.

From single cells, you can move up to simple animals and – if all goes well – eventually to human trials.

By starting with the "problem area" and working backwards, reverse pharmacology is the more educated – and often faster – way to discover a new medicine.

Regardless of which way you got it, once you have a treatment, it's on to drug delivery:

getting the medicine to move through the body, find the site of the problem, and even attach to right parts of the cells.

Syringes are the classic solution to this problem.

Just draw up some medicine and inject it right where it's needed.

But those syringes used to need a lubricant to help the plunger – that thing you press down on – well, go down.

This usually meant using silicon oil, which could be a problem.

Silicon oil can react with the medicine inside and, as medicines have become more and more specialized, the worse and worse the reactions can be.

Many drugs also can't be delivered straight to the bloodstream, but have to be metabolized in the stomach or intestines first.

So it's a good idea to have other options for delivering your drugs.

We've talked about some possibilities before, such as nanomaterials or biomaterials.

Researchers are currently exploring ways to engineer nanoparticles that could deliver a drug to its target in the body while evading your immune system's normal defenses.

You've heard about smartphones and smart cars, but what about smart medical devices?

The idea is to design something that's sensitive to the body's internal conditions, letting the drugs react in the right way at the right times.

Take someone with diabetes, for example.

You could design smarter devices with better materials so that insulin was only released into their system when their blood glucose levels were too high.

In the new field of tissue engineering, researchers are combining the principles of biology

with the applications of engineering to create novel biomaterials that could aid in the repair of damaged body tissues – maybe even replace them!

One goal is a type of "medical scaffold" that can attract stem cells and guide their growth into specific types of tissue using biological signals.

Stem cells are the building blocks of the body.

And, in the future, mastery of synthetic tissue engineering could make it possible to regenerate tissues and even entire organs.

That's about as personalized as it gets!

Even that doesn't cover the full spectrum of what we want medicine to do.

Sometimes the problem isn't that you're trying to repair or regenerate the body,

but rather that you're trying to stop something from spreading or growing in the first place.

Cancer is the second leading cause of death worldwide, and it's responsible for millions of deaths every year.

Conventional treatments generally rely on a combination of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy.

Chemo is often the first choice for treating many types of cancer, but it's basically a poison that you hope kills the cancerous cells faster than the healthy ones.

It's a similar story with radiation – it's hard to limit its effects to just the bad cells.

With conditions like these, a drug delivery system that only gets the treatment generally where it needs to go isn't good enough.

You need to have a targeted drug delivery and not hurt anything else along the way.

This enables you to maximize the positive effect at a specific place in the body with few negative side effects elsewhere.

It would also allow you to treat hard-to-reach places while also using smaller doses.

The idea of this "magic bullet" approach has led to a number of new drug carrier systems.

A great example of these are direct local delivery systems, like the skin patch.

These patches can slowly release medicine into the body over a period of days.

They're commonly used to administer birth control or help smokers with nicotine withdrawal.

A drug-eluting stent, which is a mesh tube that delivers time-released medicine, can do the same thing from within the body.

They're often implanted into patients with coronary artery disease to prevent dangerous blockages.

Another promising tool is microparticles.

They're small enough to travel through the heart as part of the bloodstream, yet big enough that they can't enter capillaries.

A number of researchers have taken this unique property and prepared biodegradable drugs made of things like starch.

They can deliver a large dose of chemotherapy directly to a targeted site, a process that's also called chemo-embolization.

The particles accumulate at designated spots in the body, kind of like a storage depot.

As they break down, the drugs release slowly, but continuously into the targeted area.

Want to speed up or slow down the release rate of the medicine?

Try using a different material – one that degrades at a different speed – or design the particles to have bigger or smaller pores.

But let's say you do want something that can enter the capillaries so that it can keep on circulating through your body.

Then nanoparticles are the way to go.

Particles around 110-140 nm in size seem to be ideal for most applications

because they're large enough to avoid being cleaned out by the liver or kidneys, but small enough not to be attacked by white blood cells.

The goal is for them to stay in the body's circulation long enough to be removed by the target tissue rather than something like your immune system.

This approach might be especially well suited to treat cancer.

Since the blood vessels connected to tumors are often quite large, the medicine is less likely to leak into surrounding tissue,

resulting in something called the enhanced permeability and retention, or EPR, effect.

Basically, you're increasing how much medicine gets to where you want, while reducing it where you don't.

Future techniques could be even more accurate.

An idea currently being developed is microbubbles, which are super small bubbles filled with gas.

Someday they could hold a chemotherapy drug that would only be released when the bubbles experience the waves of an ultrasound.

The ultrasound would target a specific part of the body and burst only the microbubbles at the site of the tumor,

which would activate the drug only where it's needed most.

Targeted carriers like these, along with good disease detection systems and a wealth of drug discoveries, will add up to that promised world of personalized medicine.

Today we learned about drug discovery and drug delivery.

We covered classical and reverse pharmacology, as well as the new field of synthetic biology and what people have been able to accomplish with it.

Finally, we saw how important good disease detection is and why we need more targeted drug delivery systems.

I'll see you next time, when we'll go one step further and talk about biodevices.

Here are four of my friends who are spending their last moments at 25.

I interviewed them to see how they were sending their age of 25.

Cuz I don't think I've been very sociable since I served in the military.

Also, It is safe to say that I didn't meet new people at the time after military service.

I've only met friends who I already knew.

As they graduated, it became gradually difficult to find people I knew in school.

Of course, I was.

Me: It was ten points until then, wasn't it?

Of course, it was 10 points back then.

Me: Why did it suddenly drop to 6?

I've told you.

I don't even have a girlfriend. f*ck.

I'm preparing for the exam. I haven't accomplished anything yet.

I put results before processes in my life.

I'm still preparing for the exam and also I haven't accomplished yet.

If I succeed to achieve my goal, I believe my degree of satisfaction in life will be 9 or 10.

What is the most important thing to me?

How to live my life.

Me: what is your opinion about it?

I don't want to get hung up on money.

My satisfaction. Self-satisfaction.

Me: self-satisfaction?

yes

Money seems to depend on how much I'm satisfied with myself.

I don't think money is important.

These days? Money.

I wanna make lots of money so badly.

I feel like I'm getting blinded with money.

When I was young, I had a childish thought of living by doing what I wanted to do.

I don't think that's good saying for our generation anymore.

I think the society becomes a rat race that makes us to fight until die by ourselves.

In fact, that's why I started this kind of studying.

Honestly, do you think I started studying for a patent attorney because I wanted to do this?

a steady job.

I ended up being the kind of obvious person who wanted to be like that.

First of all, computer.

you are right.

Me: please, be more serious

Why? it is right.

Hey, what else can he consider important besides computers?

I think I can live without a cell phone.

really?

What will you say if you show yourself on an Instagram hashtag?

I huddle myself up now.

But I'm gonna be in full bloom soon.

Are you in the pupal stage?

yes, pupal state.

the incubation period?

Caterpillars

You say similar word like him. He said pupal state.

I'm not even in pupa state yet.

It's hard to answer as f*ck.

pass

I don't know what to answer.

when do you get stressed?

I don't feel stressed out these days.

I was under a lot of stress when I was preparing for the police, but I don't have any more.

(How did you relieve your stress at the time?) I felt better after I run around town.

while listening to the music.

I think maintaining self-esteem while studying is the hardest.

when I study, sometimes I realize that I didn't speak single word with people that day.

Because I only go back and forth between home and studyroom.

I feel like I can't even open my mouth later.

When I talk on the phone later, my voice comes out like a hoarse sound.

So I talked to myself a lot while studying.

when the problem I solved is right, I cheer myself.

I sing along with the lyrics while listening to the music.

What about me in college?

Don't just stay at home and go out.

That's also what I want to say to me now.

Wasn't that the same advice we gave you at the time?

yes

I want to tell myself from the past that I should cherish bonds with others around me.

I want to tell myself, don't neglect people who I already know.

Cuz I didn't really care about the people around me.

I felt lost and wandered during college.

I didn't know what to do back then.

So I started to look for student club a lot because I felt I should do that kind of activity,

but there was no right place for me.

Also, In case of grade, there were too many students who were good at studying

so I didn't think I could get high grades at the time.

when I was little, there was a time I thought I was a person who love to do creative activities.

I think the korean SAT has too much affect on my life.

At the time, the only thing I needed to do was studying hard for one goal and study one curriculum.

I got used to just memorizing random things.

I find myself that It's hard to do something new.

The reason why I feel more comfortable rather than before is because I have a goal to look at again.

Rather, it makes me feel not anxious.

What kind of person would you like to be remembered?

A person who I can trust, depend on, and tell my troubles without hesitate.

A person who will understand my worries well.

Me: Do you think you're doing that way to us?

Yeah, I do.

I'm such a person! you don't agree with it?

I want to be the firs t person they want when people need help.

yeah, you are that kind of person. I think of you when my computer doesn't work.

someday....

When I...

when I had a funeral,

Friends who will come to my funeral and eat food there in the future

how many those friends do you have?

- how do I know that now?

will you come to my funeral?

- Of course

If you're the standard, I think there's about 10 person.

- That's a lot!

But you know, It's been a long time since we met.

- even though it has been long time till now, isn't it more important that we can understand each other well now?

- That was just because we were all busy.

What do you want your 26 to be like?

I hope it's my first year of master's degree.

Me: how about saying first year of master degree in SNU?

Me: you are preparing for SNU

yes.. ok, let's say that.

I wish I could get used to the company well. I don't want to be stressed out by relationships.

It is ok if stress is about work.

Isn't it too obvious?

pass the exam?

of course, it's obvious.

but I can say like this.

A year is over, but I think it's the beginning to me.

Me: Is it because there are many days left til the test?

There's a long time left.

I don't feel like the year is over. The year is over, but I don't feel like it's over at all.

I wish I could quit smoking and lose some weight and do some boxing hard.

I can't stop drinking. I can't stop drink alcohol even if I quit smoking.

(Is there anything you want to say to yourself?)

Cheer up a little more. You can do whatever you want in a little while.

I hope you enjoy your life.

Me: Are you having a hard time these days?

No, I just want myself to enjoy my life.

Me: you don't think you enjoy ur life now?

No, I'm so tired of the bookstore job. That's why I can't enjoy my life nowadays.

I hope you enjoy your life (letter to himself)

I want to say something.

Don't regret yourself that you should've done that. It would be bad anyway no matter what you did.

- Do you like someone?

No

Me: what is the meaning?

I just want to say don't regret it after relationship.

ROOKIE REALTOR GENERATES $.44 BUYER LEADS!! - Duration: 12:33.

What's up guys Jason Wardrop here with Mike. Mike is a Realtor in Arkansas. Thanks so much Mike for joining me here today

You've been awesome and so Mike is a fairly new agent

You got your license back as a few months ago, right? Not not too long ago

And end of November 28 thing. Okay, so it's been about 3-4 months or so and

Yeah, so I'll be fairly new but you've been in the space you were telling me just a minute ago

You've been in the space for a little bit where your wife's realtor?

But you've kind of been in the fix and flip more of the investing side of things in the past

So you you kind of it's not like you have no idea what's going on in the real estate space, right?

I'm not completely a green a newbie clue at all

You know, I'm just from her and being in that in the investment business

I knew I knew the processes of things also ya know. That's awesome. And

We've got you on here today cuz you posted the group and you've gotten would say

16 leads for about a little over six dollars an ad spend which

Was that Lina 30 40 cents per lead, which is absolutely insane

so we're yeah, that's bad at all, you know, and it is probably a couple more because there was a

you know people type in there just

When they're filling out these forms filling out the fields. They will type in just junk ya know and then they'll sit

Yeah, so there's a couple of those so we've got you know, yeah and the engagement. It's just great because

follow the instructions in your video and I made the post and then

I put haven't made the post first on my page and then I went to the Facebook ad and use that post. Okay?

got to me and in that just

That just completely

The engagement and reach from that

Surpassed any other any of my other posts on page? That's awesome and a cool thing

You just mentioned to me just a second ago is you're not only generating the leads?

But you're actually setting some appointments from those leads which the other day

That's the whole point of actually going through and generating leads react

I was surprised because on the button on the landing page, you know

I put scheduled appointment on there and just like the video say yeah

and then I get a note I get a notice not while back and

You know through calendly like you like you suggest yeah, someone has a different format to see the property

No, it's wow. That's awesome

No, no, that's so cool. And so you like you said you had like run some Facebook ads in the past?

but you kind of had been just kind of so you like you had

somewhat of an idea what was going on how they work but

Hadn't really seen the results that you were shooting for with them. Right and that's more my personality

I told you you know in here my whole life

I'm not an incredibly social. I'm more of an introvert. Mm-hmm. So I really like doing

Data and research here

And I want to kind of see if I can make this role with just getting no leads from the internet and Facebook

Because you know many people don't Facebook now. I mean everybody is totally so so I started with that premise and

I started putting Facebook learning myself fumbling through that

With you know, how much is your house worth, you know and a lot of people er know that but their most yeah, okay

They're just curious. It is curious

So I kind of you know cut my teeth doing that

But we needed some buyers for her my wife's properties

So I decided to switch over to the buyers because they're more it's it's a little more

I guess the timeframe for buyers a little faster than stellar totally. Yeah

Yeah, so she has one more properties nice and lonely. No, let me just go buddy

Go by the process instructions, which I love doing, you know, yeah

and

There's the results for you know, I was great

I was laughter after I launched after I launched a Facebook ad like electric ten o'clock p.m. 10:30

I had I had three already

So, you know, I'm not like I said my reach or my area my targeted area my geo-targeted area

There's not that big was just this it was just a city

So yeah, you know when Facebook could ask you didn't go see cluster 10 or city plus whatever

no, I just did the city and

I'm really pleased with the you know, it's like an open house. These people may not want to buy this house or you know

They want to bind up with navy

So I've got I've got a few of them on an automatic MLS property search email, you know, yeah

With that and along with the drip

Email and text from inside your marketing

Software, you know, I can stay in touch with them

totally so so it sounds like

The so like as far as the campaign you were running

Was that a listing these campaign and you might have said like you were maybe run in an open house these campaign or which campaign?

Was it was a lifting campaigns? You just like just like the one that's in your in a second third video. Okay, I

Took in course when she listed houses. She has a professional photographer come out and take all the pictures, right? Yeah

Well, so I took

You know four or five of those but the main part of the front of the property I use it to background

And that was what was a little and I didn't really change anything else on on your template

for the listing Lee

Campaign except the number of photos I think yeah

and just

Launched did and in the Facebook ad I put a little four or five pictures

on the Facebook ad

From the listing but it was like I said, it was a just explained in your in the videos there. I

Mean verbatim verbatim on mark that's awesome. So from these so you got you got the sixteen leads or so so far plus

You know a few bogus

once you were saying spend a little over six bucks and how many appointments

have you been able to set I mean because you've only been in the the system running this for a few days now right this

Hasn't been long. Yeah, not even two days. It's current day in a hat. Yeah

And you know, you might hear my you may hear the the notification come up while we're talking and you know, that's that's a lady

Yeah sixteen in a day and a half and one appointment so far yeah, and I've

talked well probably to about I've talked to some people and she's talked to some contacts and

That three or four for those are looking seriously but own down the road a little bit which is great. Yeah

So those will those will hopefully will turn out

So, you know and I wanted to say, you know, I set the budget for the Facebook

It has just $5 a day to start

Okay

You know

so so it's just like a turn on the water on if I want to I don't want more I

Just turn I would just open it up some

Come back in

That's awesome. So so you've got you got the one appointment

It sounds like you you've talked with a few others that maybe are a little bit further down the road

What what is was your follow up currently looking like you get the leads?

Obviously the Arsenal systems got the email and automated follow-up. Test text

You got the mobile app that you've been using you were telling me a little bit earlier. But what was that follow-up look like and

What what smoked well for you so far?

We're trying to call them as soon as we get the lead

You know, I know the first part of 10 minutes is is you know

I looked at somewhere when your video as you mentioned this dirty by MIT

Yeah, I looked it up and then it was amazing about you know

How important the first five minutes is

How to do that and not always can do that just because you know, we're busy

So it could be, you know, 30 minutes an hour to but we keep if they don't answer we don't have a message

What is with a picky column?

But that with that right, I mean the closest

we gave we get more results if closer to closer to the time frame is when they left believe that we call -

so we had there all been positive responses because they it's just it's it's

they just left a litany, you know, I mean, they're not gonna be not gonna be

You know angry or anything. They were just they were just on their phone or computer

Want any information?

so

Yeah, I feel like that still today eat

like even with all the automation technology all this cool stuff in that that's like the most underutilized thing of

How important is she jump on a phone call and called a person?

obviously

You've got the text message in the emails and Facebook mastered all that stuff

In case you're an appointment showing or just you're off doing something

but you know kind of like that MIT set you were referring to it just shows like the I think I was like the

Contact rate was ninety percent higher if you contact in the first five minutes

And the qualification rate was like twenty twenty

cuz

Like if somebody just opted in just became a lead. It's still on the top of their mind

They're still thinking about it and then five minutes later like they could have to run to the store

They get a phone call like, you know kid spills milk something happens, and then they're not thinking about anymore

So then it's like they're kind of just out of that zone

So it's like you got a catcher in that state as soon as possible

Yeah, that's what we've this we've seen, you know, yeah closer Union to call me Matt. The lead is

More of a engagement you're going to have with them

So and in the text and the emails that get sent out automatically, it's great - yeah

they your your cell for shows if they've

When they received it when they opened it and if they click on the link

So that's great information in if I if I've seen that they haven't opened the email at all

And I can't get ahold of them

with the phone I

May email them outside of the system

also, yeah, so

In any way any way I can you know, and I use I use white pages a lot to validate validate phone number, okay

yeah, and a few of them, you know, the phone number has nothing to do with them, you know, or

It's they just put a phone number in yeah

So I can I can use white pages to validate the phone number. Yeah, that's actually that's really smart

Good idea there so somebody so let's say there's a real estate agent real estate professional

watching this hearing about your success and you know generating leads for

Less than $0.50 per lead even what would be your words of advice or what would be your recommendations to them?

on how to

Start getting a consistent flow of leads and setting those appointments for their business

But if they need more appointments, they need more leads by early

You know, I hadn't even started the cellar part of it yet, but even just even his buyers

This to me, it's a no-brainer

Because you know one one transaction, you know the result thing. Yeah

You know, so I would have no problem at all highly recommending it to you know, any about you doing it

So anyway, it's been a day and a half my elbow and I have a lease

now

That's awesome. Awesome

Like well, I don't want to take up any more of your time

But I really appreciate you jumping on here sharing with everyone your results. That's awesome

I love hearing about the results, especially like, you know when someone jumps in for the first time

in seiza actually work in if they've been struggling with facebook ads or lead generation or any of that stuff in the past and they

See it like oh man. This is this is cool and not only getting leads but getting appointments set and starting this conversations

It's just it's really cool to see that we yeah, and I hope it would have helped be able to

Engage it in the Facebook group again soon saying and you know even talking about even even more

appointments in transactions

Awesome. Thanks so much for jumping on here today Mike. Alright. Yeah. It's a good talking to you. Thank you

great system

Angel Di Maria yells 'f**k off' to Man Utd fans after Paris Saint-Germain take lead at Old Trafford - Duration: 1:32.

Paris Saint-Germain star Angel Di Maria yelled 'f**k off' at Manchester United's home support after his side took the lead at Old Trafford

The Argentine, who spent an ill-fated single campaign at the Theatre of Dreams, was subjected to abuse by the home fans during the opening 45 minutes

Ashley Young barged Di Maria into the hoardings during the first half, much to the enjoyment of the Old Trafford crowd

However, it was Di Maria that had the last laugh when he assisted PSG's opening goal that was scored by Presnel Kimpembe shortly after half-time

Di Maria was clearly fired up and utilised his limited grasp of English to taunt the Old Trafford crowd during the celebrations

United fans launched a bottle at the 30-year-old shortly afterwards when he was taking a corner on the other side of the pitch

Again, though, it was Di Maria that had the last laugh as he assisted PSG's second goal of the night moments later when Kylian Mbappe slotted past David De Gea

put like a face mask on for about 15 minutes and I'll either like read a book

or look at my memes or I just do like the nighttime masks that you like

sleep in and wake up like and you're like glowing. Korean face masks are the way to go it

doesn't matter what brand it is if it's Korean do it and whenever I'm feeling

like super dry I use Laneige water hydrating mask hmm sounds great the glow

recipe also smells like watermelon Jolly Rancher and that's why I really love it

the apocalypse is happening like the zombie apocalypse I'm like running away

from my house and this random car pulled up like is like and there's Snoop Dogg

rolls down the window all like hey happened I'll save ya

so Snoop Dogg save me from the apocalypse thanks Snoop Dogg very weird one

pillow or two? two I have to have two. I have to have two as well have to have one for

the headboard so I don't hit my head on the wall and then one you sleep on. and then I need my

stuffed animal his name is Brian the bunny I have to hold him like this when I

sleep and I have a hedgehog stuffed animal I don't know what I just need something

right here because people like to cuddle like nope no humans for me just

my stuffed bunny growing up I always had pictures of like Miley Cyrus I was

like Hannah Montana or they zac efron like all the high school

musical cast oh yeah yeah sure but now I have like a kpop poster in my room of a

kpop band and then I have like a Star Wars poster and then one of an anime

movie very nerdy things I don't have like posters in my room but I do have

like little quotes and just like little pictures and one of my favorite quotes

is from Audrey Hepburn it says nothing is impossible the word itself says I'm

possible and I love that I have that in my room

I sleep with six blankets and one of them is a 25 pound weighted blanket

because I just love blankets I don't know why like this right here not enough

for me I need like three more when I get like

hot I do stick out a leg you do yeah I don't I know I do I keep one under

because like I'm still cold I get kind of scared if I stick out a leg. Why?

l feel like somethings going to grab me like the monsters under your bed. Yes I'm 22 and I'm

still scared somethings going to grab me. okay lowkey though whenever like my phone

falls off of the nightstand it's like right there like a hand is going to grab it

when I like try to reach for it. so my go-to pajama is just a huge

oversized t-shirt or like a long-sleeve if it's a cold I do the same thing

oversized t-shirt you know what I've been doing recently that is that my mom

thinks is weird is I sleep with hoodies on now as she says it doesn't that get

uncomfortable with like the hood and stuff and you know I've realized that

maybe the hood adds like extra pillowage the one thing I can't sleep without

okay this is gonna sound weird but my phone. why? I'd look at memes

before I go to bed and for some reason if I can't look at my memes I just can't

sleep I just like scroll through them and then like eventually I'd fall asleep

and then like I wake up and my phones like right there and it's on the last meme

I looked at and I just wake up to more memes. I can sleep without my phone like

just perfectly fine the thing that I would like panic about before I go to

sleep is not having something to cuddle with I used to be a sock sleeper me too

but now I don't I have to be barefoot it's so

uncomfortable you know for the last several years I've been a barefoot

sleeper but recently no I haven't changed

it's just that I've gotten so cold and my six blankets don't keep me warm so I

have to put on like fuzzy socks just like you take your socks off and like do

this with your feet and then you make it all hot down there. I cant my blankets are too heavy

Nature Aquarium Setup - Duration: 8:56.

Hello and welcome.

In this video I show you how I have set up the hardscape for this

nature aquarium.

The tank that I used for this setup is a frameless 54 liter (16 gallons) aquarium by Marina®.

Anyone who likes to know more about it can watch my video about it.

I put a link to it in the right upper corner now.

My plan was to recreate a stream biotope and I bought some gravel for it some weeks ago.

I've also shot a video about that!

The first project was to cover the back of the aquarium with background film.

How to do that, you can see in another video made by me.

After buying a led lamp and some beautiful drift wood I tried out

how they fit the aquarium.

I watered the wood for a few days then.

However, it was already so heavy when I bought it, that is was actually not

floating anymore.

I covered the bottom of the tank with styrofoam to protect the glass from

breaking by putting in the big pebble stones.

If you increase the background in the back a bit that way it also has the advantage that stones and

soil will not slip forward easily when the tank is filled with water.

It also saves some weight.

I have slightly beveled the edges of the styrofoam.

I just want a very thin layer of sand at the front of the tank, because I do not like it, when algae

grow behind the sand.

This is possible, because I will not put plants in the front area.

However, there is a risk that the sand will slip off the slope over time and

the white styrofoam will be visible.

That's why I put a thin layer of aquarium silicone on the slope and then

sprinkled it with fine sand.

Time will tell if that works well.

After the silicone has dried I have even covered the whole bottom with a thin layer of sand

which will then be the basis for the rest of the setup.

This way the aquarium already looked quite different than before and it was time to put

in the stones.

I spread them next to the tank on a table. That way I could better see what I had

so it's easier to choose them.

In the beginning, the challenge was to position the root to show it

from its best side.

I want position the filter and plant that cover it behind the root.

It took quite a while until I was happy with the setup.

To find suitable stones and arrange them in a reasonably natural way

was not so easy.

I have changed the position of the root very often and tried out all kind of stones.

Then I rearranged them a few more times until I had the feeling that this part of the hardscape

had been finished.

I will mostly see the aquarium from the side when I sit at the kitchen table, and when I checked

it from there I liked it too.

My idea for the whole scape was to create a kind of a replicate of a bank of a creek.

The strongest current is usually in the middle of the creek, except when it makes a turn.

At the edge the current often is a bit weaker.

The stones there often are still bare, because the sediments are washed out

by a flood.

In the areas behind the root, that are protected from the current and where sand has settled down,

it is possible for pants to grow.

To implement this idea into the aquarium took quite a while.

Just the part with the exposed pebble was very demanding.

I've put in each one individually, checked if I liked it, turned it over,

took it out again, put another stone in that position and so on and so on.

The edge of bank should go diagonally across the tank. In the right rear

corner the stones and sand should stay clear from the glass so that no algae

can grow behind them.

The aquarium is located in a very bright place and in the early morning

the sun shines into it.

That's why I wanted only a very thin layer of sand in the front that barely covers

the silicone of the seams.

And to avoid that everything slips from the back to the front, I had put the styrofoam in the tank.

Even the small stones required a lot of attention. What now looks as if it happened by chance

it the result of a lot of trial and error and turning each single stone once or twice.

You also have to step back and have a look on the tank from further away.

At some point, I was satisfied so far.

Even though it was not that easy to position the stones in such a way that it

looks natural.

As I said, the whole thing should look like a bank of a creek.

In front you can imagine the faster streaming area and here behind the root

same plants will grow.

I will put the filter in the left rear corner which will be covered by higher

stem plants.

Because the hardscape is so massive, the aquarium now looks much smaller, but as

said, I will usually look at it from the side sitting at the kitchen table.

I'm curious what it looks like when the stones are wet.

I can imagine to put a food bowl for the

shrimps on this big flat stone.

To me the aquarium then already looked quite nice.

I have left it like this for a few days.

Again and again I sat in front of the tank and let it work on me.

Of course I took out one or the other stone again and put another one into the tank.

I had left an area behind the stones empty where I wanted to put

in some plants.

In the next step soil will be placed there.

In front of the filter taller plants will grow, and for that

soil had to be put in too.

I will review the filter, a Pat Mini from Aquael® with a sponge from Sera®, in one

of the following videos separately.

I think I will plant some kind of valisneria in front of the filter

which hopefully will cover it.

Here on the right some lower plants will be planted and between the stones

and on the wood moss and also a few epiphytes plants will grow.

Then I have put in the soil. For that I used a small bowl to

better to hit the areas I wanted it to and not spread it all over the stone.

Later I distributed it with the spatula and also tried to condense it

so it does not collapses so much when the tank is filled with water.

I let it rise to the back, to achieve more depth effect and then

started to cover it with gravel.

Unfortunately, I came up with the Idea to spread white aquarium sand over it.

But I did not like that at all.

But I could fix that problem later with darker sand.

I also have sprinkled some smaller gravel, between the big stones, which made it

look a bit more natural.

I also put some gravel in the corner below the filter because nothing

will grow there.

I also put soil behind the root and spread it out with the spatula.

That came out pretty well.

As I said, I didn't like the white sand, so I have

covered it later on.

I also covered the soil behind the root with a thin layer of sand,

so you do not see it anymore.

On top of the sand I spread out a few of the small pebbles.

This is probably the final hardscape now.

This way I liked it quite well and it already looks quite natural to me.

The soil and the sand will condense under water and by inserting

the plants everything will move a little bit.

I leave this now as it is for a few days or weeks, look at it again and again

and then consider what plants I will put in.

I'll take my time for that.

Everything will look very different with water and plants and you have to be careful

that you do not overload it and stuff it too much.

On the other hand, there have to be enough plants that use up the nutrients

so that there will be not too much algae growth.

I am definitely very excited about the LED light bar

from Aqua Grow.

The aquarium really lights up completely and if I realize later that there is not enough light,

I can easily ad one or two LED bars to it.

There is no dark spot on the ground and the root is even illuminated from the front.

Let's see how it will be when the plants are settled in.

Then I will review the lamp in one of the next videos separately.

As already mentioned before, I imagine that this hardscape is the bank of a creek.

In the front it flows a bit faster, that's why there are the big

stones are not covered.

Behind the root sediments have settled

so plants can grow in this area.

In front of the filter taller plants will grow, which cover it a bit.

In Asia, for example shrimps live in this kind of creeks.

That's why they often need softer water and can tolerate cooler temperatures.

They like to hide in the overgrown areas of the stream and then come out to graze

the stones and the wood.

That was the idea behind this aquarium.

I hope you enjoyed the video. If so, I'm happy about a thumb

up!

Subscribe to the channel and activate the notification bell, so you do not miss the video,

in which the aquarium will be planted.

As said before there will be videos about the filter and the LED bar in the future,

where I review the separately.

Until next time and thanks for watching!

Coal Baron Cuts Ties With Lobbying Firm As Ex-Lobbyist Andrew Wheeler Ascends At EPA - News Today - Duration: 7:33.

Coal giant Murray Energy cut ties with its longtime lobbying firm shortly after President Donald Trump announced plans to nominate Andrew Wheeler, the firm's former lobbyist, to be the next Environmental Protection Agency administrator

The country's largest privately held coal producer, run by the bombastic coal baron Bob Murray, appears to have ended its relationship with Wheeler's former lobbying firm, Faegre Baker Daniels Consulting, according to a lobbying termination notice buried last week in Politico Influence, a newsletter tracking K Street contracts

The termination took effect at the end of last year.   The announcement came six days after Wheeler, the acting EPA administrator and nominee to fill the role permanently, testified before a Senate committee in the first step of what's expected to be an easy confirmation process to be the nation's 15th EPA chief

The timing could be a coincidence, a cost-cutting measure for a company facing significant headwinds going into the new year

And, technically, the law firm could maintain Murray Energy as a client while not reaching the threshold necessary to report its activities as a lobbyist

But, to some, the contract termination signaled what The New Republic this month dubbed Murray's "nearly complete takeover" of the EPA and raises new questions about Wheeler's potential conflicts of interest

"Murray Energy has cut out the middleman," Judith Enck, a former administrator for the EPA region that includes New York and Puerto Rico, told HuffPost in an interview Monday

"They've got their pro-coal guy in the driver's seat at the EPA."  The EPA initially declined to comment, then on Friday issued a "fact check" press release calling this story "biased and misleading

" Reached by phone, Murray Energy asked HuffPost to send written questions about its relationship with Faegre Baker Daniels via email, but did not reply to three follow-up emails

Faegre Baker Daniels did not respond to a request for comment.  The past two years delivered Murray an unprecedented string of political victories, even as coal consumption hit a 39-year low and closures of coal-fired plants continued

An early and vocal Trump supporter, the Ohio-based chief executive donated $300,000 to the president's inauguration and another $1 million to a pro-Trump political action committee, according to Center for Responsive Politics data

In March 2017, Murray drafted a wishlist of policies submitted in the form of memos to the Energy Department ― leaked photos show Wheeler, then a lobbyist, sitting beside the coal executive as he hugged Energy Secretary Rick Perry ― and to Vice President Mike Pence

Murray's requests primarily targeted the EPA, urging draconian staff cuts, gutting a mercury regulation and reversing a bevy of standards on pollution ranging from ozone to toxic coal ash to planet-warming carbon dioxide emissions

Of eight EPA policies Murray asked to be changed, the Trump administration took action on six, most of which were carried out since Wheeler took charge of the agency, Mother Jones reported

The report noted further action he took on at least three rules that the EPA first began tinkering with under Pruitt

Yet, on Friday, the EPA said "to claim these actions were only carried out under his direction is demonstrably false

"   In a telling moment, Wheeler proposed in December the rollback of an Obama-era rule requiring coal-fired plants to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the midst of the year's biggest global climate summit

One reason Murray Energy may have terminated its contract with Faegre Baker Daniels is that, under the Trump administration's own ethics pledge, officials cannot meet with former employers for two years after taking office

"It's possible that if Murray Energy goes to another firm, they could get a meeting before Wheeler personally," said Virginia Canter, chief ethics counsel at the nonpartisan watchdog Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington

"Another lobbying firm, if that's where they went, might be in a better position to move forward on Murray Energy's more immediate interests

"  The ethics pledge might not be an impervious firewall. Two weeks ago, CREW filed a complaint with the EPA's Office of the Inspector General alleging that Wheeler may have violated his ethics pledge by participating in matters on which he previously lobbied and by holding meetings with his former clients

The EPA called the allegation "baseless."  But Wheeler's time working for Murray ― the coal executive said it lasted 20 years, though the EPA said that figure isn't accurate ― became a sticking point at his confirmation hearing before the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, where Sen

Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) criticized a "sweet regulatory relationship" between the coal executive and the Trump administration

"I've worked with a career ethics officials from day one," Wheeler said at the hearing

"And I continue to consult with the career ethics officials on a regular basis."  It's difficult to determine how Murray's business is doing because it's privately held and doesn't publicly report earnings, but there are some signs indicating financial distress

In April, Murray Energy warned that utility giant FirstEnergy Corp.'s decision to close bankrupt coal-fired power plants would cost "thousands of American jobs" in mining

The company started negotiating with bondholders last spring as it began feeling the squeeze of interest payments on $2

8 billion in debt plus hundreds of millions of dollars in health and other benefits to retired coal miners, The Wall Street Journal reported last year

In October, FirstEnergy announced plans to postpone the retirement of the Pleasants Coal Plant in West Virginia from 2019 to 2022

But, in December, a federal bankruptcy judge approved a contract settlement between Murray Energy and FirstEnergy

The financial woes "can't be helping Murray in whatever it's doing," Steve Piper, an energy analyst at S&P Global, said by phone

"The point's well taken that Murray himself has lobbied the administration and Andrew Wheeler, his former lobbyist, is at the EPA

"  This story was updated to include details of the time period Wheeler worked for Murray, and a press release from the EPA
