Donald Trump Jr. may be the butt of many jokes on Saturday Night Live, but he just made himself his own punchline
Trump Jr. is a regular target of the NBC sketch show, now in its 44th season. Mikey Day plays him as a smug businessman opposite the childlike idiocy of Alex Moffat's Eric Trump impression
So, one would assume that the president's son is at least somewhat familiar with this cultural juggernaut — which his dad has hosted — that makes a habit of parodying the news and leading political figures
But it turns out Trump Jr. appears not to know what the common abbreviation of the show, SNL, stands for
Trump Jr. retweeted a jab at the Democrats' 2020 presidential platform, with the added note, "It's almost like a funny version of an S&L skit," apparently thinking the "N" in SNL stands for "and," as others on the internet pointed out

's part given he has frequently referenced the sketch show in past tweets and did appear to be a fan of the late-night series as recently as 2015
Old tweets show him referencing Darrell Hammond's portrayal of his father, the infamous Christopher Walken cowbell sketch, and more
